Albeit in some regions the climates and conditions may differ. Deserts in the north dominate the dry weather. Western Mexico and the states of Jalisco are often referred to as having an eternal spring. On the Yucatán Peninsula you have the picturesque turquoise seas. In the south are tropical jungles and the Pacific. Here it is more humid and hot.

Puerto Vallarta is on the opposite side of the country. This is a commercial holiday resort. It is smaller than CancĂşn and has a central old town with cobbled streets that fan out from a colonial plaza.

It is reported that over 900 fish species and 32 types of marine mammal gather to feed and breed in the Sea of Cortez, off the coast of Baja California.

The History :
Mexico is rich in history of ancient civilisations. From the city of Palenque to the world-famous archaeological site of Chichén Itzá. Or in Tulum on the Riviera Maya, one of the last Mayan cities was built. It sits on the idyllic coastline of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Food and Drink :
